A solar stake bought in spring. A motion light added after a scare. String lights from a hardware store two summers later. Three colour temperatures, four finishes, none of them chosen with the others in mind — and an exterior that ends up looking assembled rather than designed.
AfterDusk exists to fix that. We make coordinated outdoor lighting — pathway, porch, patio and steps — in one warm colour temperature and one family of finishes, so the pieces work together whether you buy them all at once or add to them over three years.
How we think about it
Warm, not white. Cool white light makes a house look like a car park. Everything we sell sits in the warm range.
Solar, not wired. No trenching, no electrician, no permit. You put a light where you want it, and you move it if you were wrong.
Coordinated, not comprehensive. We would rather sell nine things that go together than nine hundred that don't.
